I'm using a portuguese locale (actually system default, which happens to be portuguese) configured in system settings. I used an old file and the problem still persists. I also tried creating a new file and following the same steps above I can also reproduce it every time. I can provide more info if required. Well the best info you could provide would be if you could upgrade KMyMoney to the latest stable version (4.6.2) and try to reproduce this bug with it. As you can see other users report it as fixed and your version is pretty old (4.5.3 is a year old version). This is necessary because in some cases a layout of the items is triggered which causes the header to ask for the column count from the model which is 0 if the model is not set and this causes the restored section sizes to be lost after the model is finally set. If I'm not mistaking multiple kioslave instances communicate with the KIO scheduler trough local TCP/IP ports and that's why the firewall think that they try to connect to the internet. 2. When i do my regular hdd data backups, with respect to my KMM data files, is the ONLY file that i need to backup my active *.kmy file? I have been assuming yes, but felt i should ask, as this file is TINY [ 40 kB], compared to my old GnuCash file [ 2 MB] my older Quicken file [ 4 MB] ... admittedly I used GC for a year, Quicken for ~ a decade, vs only a few months so far for KMM. Anyway, in event of disaster recovery, is backing up my *.kmy file sufficient, pls? In fact, when I chose the file type for anonymous, the dialog_*jumps automatically to XML*_ file. If one does not know, like I did, he save an .xml file thinking this is the anonymous one. The cause is if the option _*set automatically file name and extension*_ (translation from French) _*is active*_ on that interface dialog you cannot save the anonymous file! Here is also a bug to correct. So I unchecked that option and created the anonymous file. Please be so kind to delete the one I just sent you before. 1. Your file did not make is anywhere since bugs.kde.org drops all email attachments sent as comments to a bug report 2. When you want to attach a file to a bug report you need to do that from the web interface 3. I'm not sure what do you understand of a file as being anonymous or not, you've stated that the xml file is not anonymous - well actually the anonymous file is an xml file usually kmymoney saves it as name.anon.xml (is you selected anonymous in the file filter) 4. Before attaching any file you need to open it with a text editor to convince yourself that you're not disclosing any sensitive data 5. If you open the anonymous file in kmymoney you'll see that all user specific data like names/amounts where made anonymous. I hope you'll attach the anonymous file with which you can reproduce the problem you've reported after going through the above steps. We just need to be careful to add this feature, if we add it, in a way that does not generate future bug reports. Has some transaction data changed like the amount for example 2. The date was changed to be after the due date 3. The user selects 'Set all further occurrences in this schedule to be these values' while only the changed amount is displayed After a schedule in the above conditions is entered the next dues date of the schedule is incorrectly set to the payment date of the transaction that was just entered. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Use the attached file and enter schedule 'Salary' which is a monthly schedule due on '25.12.2011'. 1. Changed the amount to 110 2. Change the transaction date to '26.12.2011' 3. Enter the schedule and select 'Set all further occurrences in this schedule to be these values' Actual Results: The transaction is entered and the next due date of the schedule is set to '26.12.2011' which is wrong since we've just entered the transaction for that date.
