[Koha] Translating string at Koha manual 16.11

2017-09-05 Thread Anthony Mao
Hi all,

I am translator of Chinese (Taiwan).

During the translation I found an issue:
Koha manual 16.11 / 04_patrons.po String 21354473
Staff members can access their own check out screen by clicking their
username in the top right of the staff client and choosing 'My
checkouts'My checkouts

Question:
Take a close look at the last four words. <'My checkouts'My checkouts>.
Whta it means? Shoud have a space or | between "checkouts'My"?
Should I translate them word by word?

Re: [Koha] Opac Header Image

2017-09-05 Thread Eric Phetteplace
Hi Ashok,

Without actually looking at your catalog site, it's tough to tell. It's
helpful to send along a link, if possible. My guess is that the image URL
on your home page is correct but it breaks when you go to a search. That
blog post is very flawed in that it recommends a *relative* URL (one which
doesn't begin with a "/"):

references the path /header.jpg in the root of your htdocs folder on your
home page, but references a different /cgi-bin/koha/header.jpg when you're
on the search page (/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl). You need to make that
URL absolute by prepending a forward slash:

That should fix your issue.

Best,

ERIC PHETTEPLACE

Can you explain what this module is used for in Koha? It was missing
in my installations of 17.05.03, but Koha seemed happy without it.

On my test VM, I installed it using 'cpan -i WebService::ILS'.
Is there any reason why this method isn't mentioned on this page?

Re: [Koha] Sort 1.000 records..

2017-09-05 Thread Fridolin SOMERS

Hi,

You must fix this in Zebra config files :

sortmax: 1000

See for exemple etc/zebradb/zebra-biblios-dom.cfg :
git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=tree;f=etc/zebradb;h=266d7bd1c226a1c288c913b8a2ca0359c1ac14af;hb=HEAD

No need to reindex I think, juste restart Zebra server.

Good morning

Koha just sort the first 1.000 records, If I am not wrong it is because
zebra just delivery 1.000 at once, right?

modifying this should fix this, right?

Should I reindex?

Thank you in advance
