Good day!


Anyone encountered this kind of error while upgrading KOHA?

Upgrading database schema for lrc

 -

I was using my development server which has been used previously for various
other projects.

I tried starting again with a clean installation of Debian 11 on another
machine.  This time the Koha installation worked flawlessly.

So it seems the original server was misconfigured in some way that caused
the problems below.

I'm finding that the Koha instance's intranet site is crashing with an
Internal Server Error.  It first happened when I tried to change the
superlibrarian's user ID.  I couldn't recover the system at all, and had to
delete and re-create the instance.

 

It has recurred in the installer when selecting the language.  Log files
are being filled with repeated errors about missing database tables, e.g.

I've looked at the tail of all logs in /var/log/koha/(instance)/, but 
most are empty and the others don't give me any meaning.


One example, intranet-error.log gives:

To review, an upgrade to 21.11 (OldOldStable) and Debian 10 results in 
[Internal Server Error] screens.

the internal server error will resolve to something more meaningful in
the logs. Check your logs on the server for the full error message.

Hi Eugen,

it should not create any errors or problems to delete these tables.

There is even an option in the cleanup_database.pl script that will do
this type of deletions:

before deletion I don’t have any problems in koha-about/system. After I’m

delete the record from deletedbiblio I can delete the biblio over Web without

I think the error is if I try to delete the biblio, koha put the biblionumber 
into deletedbiblio than check deletedbiblio and give me error. I can’t 
understand, why I can normally delete the record second time after I delete the 
biblio from deletedbiblio .


Maybe is it some Indexing problem? Any other ideas?

Seems you have duplicated records and need to fix them. You can check that out 
in:


Go to koha-about/system information.


If that is the case, you will find there instructions on how to fix the issue 
as well as the duplicated record numbers..
