[Koha] How to hide port number when accessing koha staff client in the browser.

Good day!

Can someone help me on how we hide port number when our user access KOHA
staff client in the internet. for security purposes.
sample
OPAC: opac.com.ph
staff client: opac.com.ph:10001

I want to hide the 1001

Whenever we access our KOHA staff module over the internet we always use
this method.. ( example: test.com.ph:4001)

We want to set it to be accessible with only this (test.com.ph) without the
port number, so that no one can see the open port that our koha is using.

Is there a way to hide the port number.

[Koha] KOHA OPAC customize page

Good day!

Everytime we update of upgrade the Operating system (Ubuntu 22.04), the
customize opac page return to default page, It disable some of the html
codes that we use. we need to customize it again and again everytime we
update the operating system.

Any fix for that?

return to default page.  We need to edit it again to make it the homepage
design that we need.

There are always holiday's entry in our KOHA but no hard due date. when i
refresh the circulation and fine rules and check out the books again, it
gives the right due date.

The is expiry date is set to expire on December 17, 2023. Sometimes our
server is slow,s to load and the same day due date shows. It only happens
after we update to KOHA v23.05

v23.05. the circulation and fine rules is set to due in 6 days, but when
someone borrowed the book the due becomes on the same date it is borrowed.
It didnt happen before we upgraded our koha tp latest version.

We upgraded our koha to v23.05. when the patron borrowed books it is
automatically check-in even though auto check-in is not check or activated.

[Koha] KOHA upgrade from V20.05 to V22.11 (Browse by last name error)

Hello

I finished upgrading koha version 20.05 to version 22.11, but when i tried
to search for patron  by clicking the letter of the last name this message
shows ( Something went wrong when loading table . 500 Internal server
error. then lots of " Month out of range message".

How do i fix this kind of error?

I tried to overwrite the patron by uploading new list of patrons but
nothing change.

try to use ubuntu 22.04 and so that you can use mysql instead of mariadb.
by using mysql you can see the exact error.

How to check for errors in my SMTP and Overdue notice/status triggers
. because
everytime i tried to checkout books for client this error appear
(  Unhandled email failure, check the logs for further details)

which log should i check?

[Koha] KOHA upgrade error

Good morning all, we are trying to upgrade our koha database but too many
duplicate entry shows.

ERROR - {UNKNOWN}: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Duplicate entry
'ar' for key 'PRIMARY' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Installer.pm line 739


This is the first error i encountered when upgrading koha from v20.05 to
the latest version that is 22.11 and i already found the fix.

The next error is " ERROR - {UNKNOWN}: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::db do
failed: Duplicate entry '20534' for key 'import_biblios.PRIMARY' at
/usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Installer.pm line 739".

we tried to locate this duplicate entry and it points to biblios in
reservoir entry.



Anyone of you encountered this kind of error while upgrading?


I need help on how we gonna fix it.
