Hello, the check in page is also for activating new items which has the PROC status and for receiving transfers, so this behavior is feature, not bug I think. Hi all, On the Check In page, it is possible to scan the barcode of a book that is NOT checked out to begin with. However, what happens next is a little puzzling, the dialog alert div shows - Not checked out *but* in the table below of Checked-in items, an entry for the scanned item is pushed in. Hi, I also think this way you can see what happened, even if you missed the first message. The table will also show that the item wasn't checked out before scanning it.
