For your information: I tested it in my Koha 18.11 demo installation -
it is the same there. If you insert " it seems to stay and displays
correctly in staff client and OPAC. But if you edit again it changes
back to and displays as such.

Best wishes: Michael

[Koha] quotation marks not displaying correctly

2018-12-11 Thread Elaine Bradtke
Quotation marks in our catalogue are displaying strangely. I don't know
how long it's been going on (we don't have many records with quotation
marks). We're running 18.11
Here's an example
Fiddle tune history : bad tunes
It should read Fiddle tune history : "bad" tunes
https://catalogue.efdss.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=78890

I've cleared the cache, updated Chrome and also tested it in Firefox. Still
there.
Here's the strange part - if I go in and edit out the and put in
proper quotation marks, and save it, it seems to stick. However, if I open
the record for editing, even if I don't touch any fields, it changes back
to It also happens to quotation marks in other fields, not just the
title.
I couldn't find a bug reported for this, so I'm wondering if anyone else
has seen this happen, or if it might be some internal problem?

Re: [Koha] ERROR IN ACQUISITION MODULE

2018-12-11 Thread Jonathan Druart
John,

I have updated the page https://koha-community.org/download-koha/
To remove the " (up to version 5.6)" for MySQL requirement and add the
18.04 (Bionic Beaver). as supported distro.

Jonathan

[Koha] Home branch change in the courses reserve process

2018-12-11 Thread BOUIS Sonia
Hello,
I would like to know if there's a reason why there's no possibility to change
the home branch while adding items to a course reserve.
We have several branches with transfer possibility. When we add an item for a
course located in another library, we can only change the holding branch but
when it is checked out and checked in, the item is put in transfer to the home
branch.

Do you experience the same issue in your library ?
Do you have any concern about adding the home library in the course reserves
process ?

Cheers

Sonia BOUIS

[Koha] Cannot open OPAC

2018-12-11 Thread Ma. Victoria H. Silva-Manuel
I installed Koha 18.11 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I can open the staff client but
I am getting the Apache 2 default page for OPAC. I am using port 80 for
OPAC. I have tried changing the port to 81 and delete the Apache default
page but I still cannot access the OPAC.

Any help would be appreciated.
