I think unless we require all changes to be implemented in both template sets, we are going to see a feature divergence ( in fact, I think it's already happening ). (In reply to comment #2) I notice that the patch is for the CCSR theme, but the prog theme is affected as well. This was fixed when patch for bug 7874 was pushed and the desired language
(browser or cookie provided) started to get tested against the list of
languages by this piece of code (@languages is get from the sysprefs, any is a
map function for the test):

To test: * Without the patch - access any koha page - add ?language=code to the end of the URL (change code for a valid language code it needs to be installed using perl translate install code, and enabled either for the staff or opac interface, depending where are you testing) - Nothing happens with the language parameter * With the patch - access any koha page - add ?language=code (the same as before) and hit enter - the language should be changed to the one you chose - if you browse through some links, you will see koha 'remembers' the language you passed as a parameter (i.e. the language cookie has been updated). This routine is *only* used in CheckReserves :) The circulation module calls CheckReserves for transferbook, CanBookBeIssued, AddReturn, CanBookBeRenewed. This change is only meant for AddReturn. When writing this patch, the Search and XSLT module used CheckReserves also for displaying status information. Bug 9367 converts that to GetReserveStatus, implicitly supporting this change too. Note that bug 9788 makes some adjustments on top of that, improving item status for future waits. In the Reserves module, CheckReserves is used by GetOtherReserves (when confirming the hold: but you first need to recognize it!) and MoveReserve (for checkout: not relevant here). The call of CheckReserves after calling CanBookBeRenewed in circulation.pl is somewhat dubious. So you need to apply bug 9780 before testing this one. At present, merging records breaks the link order/record. This patch moves existing orders from deleted record to destination record. Impacted scripts: members/members-home.pl and members/members.pl To go further: We can imagine that all patrons searches use the same service with no big changes: 1 little template creates a JSON file and to implement DataTables on the template page, that's all. As in the OPAC it depends on XSLTResultsDisplay being enabled. - A toolbar has been added which is similar to that in search results, offering the option to add items to a Cart, add them to a different list, place multiple holds, remove items from the list, or merge records. - This toolbar has been made to float on scroll like the one on the MARC edit page. - Library and shelving location have been added to the display of call numbers. Call numbers are linked to a search as they are in search results. - Edit links are included just as they are in search results. - Automatic focus on the add by barcode form has been removed so that the page doesn't jump to the bottom unnecessarily. - basket.js's addMultiple function has been modified so that it receives an array of checkboxes rather than looking for checkboxes in a specific form. This helps abstract its functionality for use on both search results and lists. results.tt is modified accordingly. - The page layout has been widened to make room for the increased amount of information on the page. - A new merge icon has been added to the default Bootstrap sprite.
