We aim to add a batch process to automate rotation with a staff client page under tools to manage rotas/schedules. Once a rota is configured, and your staff user has the right permissions to allocate items, then an additional tab will appear on biblio records allowing the management of of which rota, if any, individual items belong to. A new report 11889 has been opened to discuss the 'disowning' feature. NOTE: I did not add a db revision here to handle possible cases of lists without owner in the current data. Such public (or shared) lists can still be used without any problem. Bug 11889 and a new planned report for a lists management tool will address this topic further on. After that, all goals of umbrella report 7310 should be realized. Test plan: Create a list P1 with user1 that allows adding by other users. Add a patron (user2). Login as user2 and create some lists, add some items. Let user2 add some entries to P1 too. Delete patron user2. In basketgroup.pl, parcel.pl and invoice.pl it is treated as single-value. The invoice.pl script will be fixed by bug 10613. If the pref contains several values, the first one is the default one (according to the syspref description). Test plan: No regression should be found on displaying total basketgroup for a vendor with 'list prices' don't include tax and 'invoice prices' include tax. No regression should be found on generating pdf. If no gstrate is defined for the vendor, the gstrate used should be the first one defined in the gist syspref. This patch corrects by not performing sort if no results. Steps to reproduce the error without patch: In OPAC go to Advanced Search Choose Title in first Search for: end enter fgdfgdfgdggdg (Exam 70-433) Display More options Set Sort by to Title (A-Z) Click Search at bootom of page Result: Error: Can't call method sort on an undefined value at /usr/share/kohaclone/C4/Search.pm line 430. Test plan : - Set OPACdefaultSortField on something else than relevance - Perform a simple search with a wrong CCL query. For example : ccl=( and ) = You get the messge : No results found ... This patch is a dirty way to fix a design issue on notices. Currently the code assumes that a letter code is unique. Which is wrong, the primary key is module, code, branchcode. But the C4::Letters::GetLetters routine returns a hashref with letter code in keys = only 1 per letter code is returned. I tried to fix the API but it is more complicated than I thought. Test plan: Try to duplicate a letter code using edit, add and copy actions. If virtualshelves is off, opac users have no lists. Imo this pref could be an opac pref, why not allow staff users always to create lists? If the pref is off, a public list is only partially visible on staff side. I think we should just enable the functionality in staff everywhere; if you do not use it, no problem. If virtualshelves is on, we can now control the creation of public lists by opac users with a specific pref. Patrons can create private lists. Sharing lists (bug 9032) is controlled by another pref. The permissions per list allow you to control adding items or not. Comment4 of Magnus remains. Probably we could turn this into: Control the creation of public lists per user category instead of the generic pref. I would suggest to open a new report for that one, if it is really needed. This patch brings various aspects of the patron lists add page into conformity with other staff client pages. - Add select all/clear all links for the checkboxes - Add a remove selected to the top of the table (see also Lists) - Split functionality of add from from delete form - Hide Add patrons button until at least one patron has been selected - Remove non-standard trash can icon from table's checkbox column - Exclude checkbox column from table sorting - Add confirmation to deletion actions - Improve breadcrumb specificity - Add title-string sorting to date column to accommodate sorting for all date format types To test, apply the patch and create a patron list. 1. Search for and select patrons for the list. Selecting a patron should trigger the display of an Add patrons button. 2. Click Add patrons and confirm that the add process completes correctly. 3. Search for and select a patron and also check the box next to an existing patron. Click Add patrons and confirm that no patron is removed. 4. Check that the select all and clear all links work correctly. 5. Select patrons on the list and click the Remove selected link. You should be prompted to confirm your choice. 4.a. Click cancel and confirm that the deletion process aborts. 4.b. Click OK and confirm that the deletion process completes. 6. Repeat step 4 with the Remove selected patrons at the bottom of the page. 7. Confirm that the page title and breadcrumbs correctly show the list name. 8. Switch between us and metric dateformat settings and confirm that table sorting by date is correct in both cases. Followed test plan. Patch behaves as expected. It uses CGI::Session to store messages and allow to render them thanks to a Template::Toolkit plugin (Koha::Template::Plugin::Messages) and a template include file (messages.inc) This patch doesn't introduce the new template include file anywhere. It will require additional patches to make it work. To use it, simply call messages_set() in a Perl script or module, then put [% INCLUDE 'messages.inc' %] at the right place in the right template file. And sometime we also like to actually see what would be generated for the users. This preference will allow to override every message sent by koha with a new (temporary) To address. Leave it empty for normal usage. C4/Letters.pm installer/data/mysql/sysprefs.sql installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/preferences/admin.pref TESTING: 0) Run updatedatabase.pl 1) Enter a valid address for new preference SendAllEmailsTo, something that will be easily identified as NOT the normal destination for the Koha emails. 2) Have koha generate an email to a user. Or any other mean prefered that cause Koha to send email. 3) Validate that the email is NOT sent to the user. 4) Validate that the email IS sent to the overriding address. 5) Clean the preference 6) Redo the test, validate that the email is going to the right address. PS Not sure if those steps are precise enough. Here's one way: a) set AutoEmailOpacUser to true b) create a new user, with an email address c) Normally, a confirmation email is sent to the user.
