This patch can be applied to last version and previous ones. One thing important to be aware of about restriction is that the last restriction day IS NOT included. A patron restricted until such day will be able to borrow again FROM that day. Test plan : 1) choose a borrower and an item and checkout the item selecting the previous opening date in the Specify-due-date box. 2) click on Circulation in the upper manu, then on Checkin and check the Book drop mode. But there is a slight problem with onkeyup event handler, apparently this event does not fire when: - user starts to enter some characters using the keyboard, - and then chooses something from the autocompletion list offered by browser. In such circumstances only the first character[s] entered in the given field are saved in 006 and/or 008 (only the part that was typed on the keyboard), and the remaining characters are effectively being ignored. This patch adds two additional event handlers to the input fields generated by the renderPositions() function in xmlControlfield.js: oninput (that should completely solve the problem for recent, HTML5-compliant browsers) and onblur (that, while not being quite satisfactory solution, should at least somehow improve things for old/lagacy WWW browsers as well). How far should we go? Hopefully not too far ;). I did some googling, and it turns out that making it work 100% reliably for legacy browser wolud be pretty complicated. For example, there is an YUI module for that (event-valuechange), but it resorts to the timers / pooling methods, which is kind of ugly. So in the submitted patch I simply added two event handlers (oninput= and onblur=) - unless I'm very much mistaken, 1st should solve the problem for modern browsers, and the 2nd improve it a little bit for older ones. There is a little drawback though: in the modern browser, the same event handling code will now be executed (up to) 3 times when the user changes something in the given plugin input field. Bug 13380: Fill order cancellation reasons from AV
Since bug 7162, it's possible to give a cancellation reason on deleting
an order.
This would be better to fill an authorised values category with the
different possible values.
Like that we will avoid to have duplicate or similar reasons.
Also, it will be easier to filter or create reports.
Test plan:
0/ Don't apply the patch
1/ Cancel some orders and give a cancelletion reason
2/ Apply the patch and execute the updatedb entry
3/ Cancel an order and verify the you have a list with the reason you
previously filled + 3 new ones ('No reason', 'Sold out' and
'Restocking');
4/ Choose one and verify the value is correctly displayed on the basket
page
5/ You can also try to add other values from the admin module.

It doesn't introduce any regression on other browsers (like Firefox) and has the side effect to make Chrome render the highlighted words on syspref searches well. This alternate patch uses a div instead of a span because it will sometimes contain block-level elements. The old technique used a negative text-indent value to move the text offscreen, but that begins to fail more and more often as screens get larger. The new technqiue is described here: http://www.zeldman.com/2012/03/01/replacing-the-px-hack-new-image-replacement/ Note: This patch has not been tested in any Internet Explorer version! To test you must have a screen which is wider than 2000 pixels. Apply the patch, clear your browser cache and view the staff client login page.
