This patch implements the standard title-string date sorting method. To test, apply the patch and view the Account tab. Test sorting of charges under various settings of the dateformat system preference. Date sorting should work correctly in all cases. The addition of the cronjobs to both the crontab.example file and almost more importantly the package templates file would simply mean enabling HEA for reporting statistics would be a simpler task (and make it in reach of 'just a librarian', i.e. clientside only user). Adding a prompt routine to remind said admin level users to enable the statistics is a seperate piece.. which so long as it was too obtrusive I would probably support. I'de personally prefer it simply warns say three days after an upgrade to a version supporting HEA, and has the options of enabling HEA, (disabling the warning permanently), Remind me later (suggesting a popup would appear again in another three days), or just disable the popup forever. So we will need to put some thought into how we want to display material type information in future. The existing code for the material type is a bit messy - for example the display logic for the result page differs from the detail page. I think cleaning that up would be a good first step. For example we can put the logic in a template that will be used on both pages. Then we could add support of 336-338 and display this information instead whenever they exist. We also have to keep in mind that the new fields are repeatable. Bug 13539 - Remove unused table patroncards
It appears that the table patroncards hasn't been used
since the database updates for the rewritten label modules
('3.01.00.107').
It's time to remove them from the database.
As the patron card batches were needed for printing and
the data has not been accessible in a long time, it seems safe
to delete it.
