/var/log/koha/library/intranet-error.log

Bug 9569: Fix AutoLocation - handle .* for subnets

The example in branches.tt is:
  Can be entered as a single IP, or a subnet such as 192.168.1.*

But actually the regex in C4::Auth does not handle subnets.

Test plan:
0/ Apply all the patches
1/ Switch AutoLocation on
2/ Define a subnet (192.168.0.* if your ip is like 192.168.0.X) in the IP
range of your library
3/ Log in on the staff interface
=> Should work

Bug 9569: Do not check the IP for login at the OPAC

At the OPAC, the AutoLocation feature should not be taken into account:
login to the OPAC from outside the IP range should work

Bug 9569: AutoLocation should not depend on IndependentBranches

Those 2 prefs can be independent and it does not make sense to consider
AutoLocation only if IndependentBranches is set.

As noted in IRC, I don't like this solution for a number of reasons. 

We already have koha-dump, it's my feeling we should build in the option to use
mysqldump parameters into that instead of having Yet Another Koha-* script to
maintain and document.

Bug 16822: Make koha-common call koha-plack without --quiet

This patch removes the --quiet option switch in koha-common.init so
problem information is not hidden for sysadmin users.

To test:

- Have plack enabled for a koha instance:
  $ sudo koha-plack --enable kohadev
  $ sudo koha-plack --start  kohadev
- Run:
  $ cd kohaclone
  $ debian/koha-common.init {start|stop|restart}
=> SUCCESS: No behaviour change
- Disable the 'cgi' apache module:
  $ sudo a2dismod cgi
- Run:
  $ debian/koha-common.init {start|stop|restart}
=> FAIL: No warning is shown
- Apply the patch
- Run:
  $ debian/koha-common.init {start|stop|restart}
=> SUCCESS: Warnings show up
- Sign off :-D

Bug 17267 - Document koha-create --adminuser

A description of --adminuser was missing from debian/docs/koha-create.xml
This patch adds a description in the Options section, as well as under
DEFAULTSQL in the list of configuration variables.

To test:
Run these commands and look at the formatted man page:
$ xsltproc /usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/docbook-xsl/manpages/docbook.xsl \
  debian/docs/koha-create.xml
$ man -l koha-create.8

Make sure this test passes:

Yes, I have the syspref turned on. I have just tested this again with the same
results: 

The book is captured for the correct patron on check in, it does not turn up on
a hold queue for any library. This seems wrong.

Bug 12629 - Software error when trying to merge records from different
frameworks

Test Plan:
1) Choose a bib record that has the default framework.
2) Add a second record using that fast add framework.
3) Merge the records; switch to "Using framework: Default", and choose the
original record (i.e. the one that had the default framework) as the merge
reference. Clicking 'Next' will trigger the error.
4) Apply this patch
5) Repeat steps 1 - 3, no error should occur

Bug 10227 : Fix GetMessagingPreferences when digest is possible

This bug is a bit tricky to test, as the result is somehow  random, depending
on the order of rows returned by sql request. You've got to change the
preferences several times to see bad results.

Enable EnhancedMessaging preferences
Set preferences for a borrower or a category.
run misc/cronjobs/advance_notices.pl and look in message_queue table the
letter_code of the generated messages.
Change digest selection and do the test again several times

Without patch, for message where digest is allowed (Advance_Notice, Item_Due),
for a borrower or a category with 'wants_digest' selected,
GetBorrowerMessagingPreferences returns sometimes letter_code with DGST and
sometimes not.

With the patch, letter_code returned is always correct depending on digest
selected or not

Bug 17194 - When edit record, Button "Z39.50/SRU search" not work

Bug 15859 introduced a problem in the basic cataloging editor by
removing a form field which the Z39.50 search button tries to use when
triggering the search window pop-up. This patch corrects the error by
changing where the script looks for the required framework code.

To test, apply the patch and got to cataloging.

- Edit a record which uses the default framework.
  - Confirm that the Z39.50/SRU search button works correctly to trigger
the pop-up window.
- Repeat the test with a record which uses a different framework.

Bug 2389: Add --test switch to overdue_notices.pl

This patch adds the --test option switch to the overdue_notices.pl script
so it can be ran without doing any actual action.

To test:
- Have a patron with overdue items (simulate a checkout for a past date. Note
it implies
  that the circ rules are defined so the patron is overdue)
- Run:
  $ sudo koha-shell kohadev
  koha-dev$ misc/cronjobs/overdue_notices.pl --test
=> SUCCESS: The script is ran but the patron isn't debarred and no notice
messages are queued.

Bug 17266 - Update man page for koha-remove with -p

Bug 9754 added the -p|--purge-all option to koha-remove, but this
was not documented in the man page. This patch fixes that.

To test:
Run these commands and look at the formatted man page:
$ xsltproc /usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/docbook-xsl/manpages/docbook.xsl \
  debian/docs/koha-remove.xml
$ man -l koha-remove.8

Make sure this test passes:
$ prove -v xt/verify-debian-docbook.t

Bug 12374: Add koha-mqsqldump script, analagous to koha-mysql

Includes documentation, koha-common.install entry, and bash completion.

- Applied the patch
- Copied the resulting koha-mysqldump to a live system
- Created dumps with mysqldump and koha-mysqldump and diff'ed them
- Exported a single table with koha-mysqldump
- All looks well
- Running xt/verify-debian-docbook.xml revealed a stray XML element
  in koha-common.xml, I'll do a followup for that

I did not create a custom package and install that, so I have not
tested installation and tabcompletion.

If you create a list from the "More" menu the box to add a new barcode is under
the list.  This means that each time you add an item the page redraws and shows
the top of the list.  Then you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to
add the next barcode, then you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to
add the next barcode, etc.  If the box where you enter the barcode was above
the list, then when the display redrew, the box would be right in front of you
and you wouldn't have to scroll.

Bug 17248 - Koha::AuthorisedValues - Remove GetKohaAuthorisedValueLib

The subroutine C4::Koha::GetKohaAuthorisedValueLib just retrieves a description
(lib) for a given authorised value.

We can easily replace it using:
  Koha::AuthorisedValues->search({ category => $cat, authorised_value => $av
})->lib
or
  Koha::AuthorisedValues->search({ category => $cat, authorised_value => $av
})->opac_description

Test plan:
- On the detail page of a bibliographic record, the description for notforloan,
restricted and stack (?) should be correctly displayed
- View a shelf, the location (LOC) description should be displayed
- On the search result page, the location description should be displayed in
the
  facets
- Set AcqCreateItem=ordering and receiving items.
The description for notforloan, restricted, location, ccode, etc. field
should be displayed.
- When creating item in the acquisition module, the dropdown list for

- On the transfers page, the description of the location should be
  displayed.
- On the checkout list from the circulation.pl and returns.pl pages, the
  description for "materials" should be displayed
- Fill some OPAC_SUG AV and create a suggestion, the reason dropdown
  list should display the description of OPAC_SUG

Bug 17216: Add new table authorised_value_categories and populate it

This patch set adds a new table authorised_value_categories to store
authori(s|z)ed value categories into a separate table.
The problematic is explained on bug 15799 comment 4:
We need FK to the AV categories but some may not have authorized values
yet.

What does this patch set:
- Add a new authorised_value_categories table
- Populate it with known categories
- Update FK items_search_fields.authorised_values_category
- Create a new FK marc_subfield_structure.authorised_value (FIXME should
  be authorised_value_categories instead)

They are some problems this patch set do not take into account:
- The .sql installer files won't insert correctly (will have to be
  updated when this patch set will be ready to be pushed)
- All the categories (even the ones without authorized values defined)
  are listed when you edit frameworks (marc_subfield_structure.pl)
- There is no way to delete a category (TODO). But to do so it would be
  good to have a authorised_value_categories.is_internal field to mark
  some categories as "cannot be deleted".

Test plan:
0/ Execute the DB entry to create and populate the new table and set the FK
1/ Create a new AV category from the admin module (admin/authorised_values.pl)
2/ Add/edit subfield linked to a AV category
(admin/marc_subfield_structure.pl)
3/ You won't be allowed to add AV for branches, itemtypes or cn_source.
They are used internally.
