Hea can only show what we built into it to show... we'd need to add information
about caching and then wait for people to actually update.

If it's broken, why not deprecate it with a note in the release notes? Are good
reasons someone would not just switch to a better (memcached?) one?

I raised a question and hoped for a response from Bouzid, but he did not and I
continued QA until I felt that it made no sense to continue further..
So I do not have a test plan for you.

Just as an update here, this seems to happen when one is using a reverse proxy
(as noted in the IRC conversation)

What I ended up having to do was putting in my HAProxy backend config,
soemthing like

http-response replace-value Location ^http://(.*)$ https://\1

and reload haproxy. I'm feeling like this might not be the canonical way to fix
this, but the other things suggested for similar problems didn't fix it, and
this did.

So, take with a grain of salt, and I hope this bit of information helps people
sort this problem in the future.

Bug 19166: (follow-up) Reformat the new adjustments markup

This follow-up makes some changes to the way invoice adjustments are
displayed and added:

 - Move this section into a  to set it off visually from the
   other sections of the page.
 - Take the "add adjustment" fields out of the table and display them in
   a standard way.
 - Hide the "add adjustment" fields by default, shown via "add an
   adjustment" link.
 - Add deletion confirmation to adjustment deletions.

To test, add, delete, and change invoice adjustments as instructed in
the original test plan.

Bug 20706: Fixes the links to the manual to reflect chanced chapter file names

The numbering in front of the chapter file names has been removed,
so the links need to be adapted accordingly.

Note:
Testing this in master currently won't work for 2 reasons:
- We are still using 17.11 as version variable, will be 18.05 later.
- We are missing the lanugage code before /html and this leads
  to an outdated version of the 18.05 manual.

Bug 20692: Return and display and error if koha-plack failed

If koha-plack did not comment/uncomment the line it should fails and
display an error instead of success.

1 - Backup your db (or not, I am not your parent)
2 - Set some items as withdrawn (UPDATE items SET withdrawn = 1)
3 - Try to place some holds
4 - The screen says no items are available, but it is hard to see why
5 - Restore your database, or just live your life :-)

To recreate:
1 - Have a user with permissions:
catalogue
reserveforothers
and more..
but not:
borrowers
permissions

2 - Attempt to place a hold on the staff client as that user
3 - Note that it goes poorly

In 17.11 we observed the user being kicked out when searching for a patron
In master I observed the user being kicked out when placing the hold

Oddly there isn't a 'You don't have access warning' just a sign in page

Bug 20612: Make OAuth2 use patron's client_id/secret pairs

This patch wires the OAuth related code so it leverages on the new
Koha::ApiKey(s) classes and tools introduced by bug 20568 instead of the
hardcoded entries in koha-conf.xml originally proposed by bug 20402.

To test revisit the test plan for bug 20402, and verify that it works.
But create API key pairs instead of writing them down in koha-conf.xml.
Also:
- Run:
  $ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/oauth.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!
- Sign off :-D

Bug 20612: (QA follow-up) Fix typo in method POD

As Martin correctly highlighted, the method name is not correctly
spelled in POD. This patch fixes it.

To test:
- Look carefully
=> FAIL: Method name is _verify_client_cb but POD says _verify_client_db
- Apply this patch
- Look carefully
=> SUCCESS: Notice the POD is fixed!

Bug 20612: Unit tests

This patch makes the oauth.t tests leverage on the new Koha::ApiKey(s)
classes. It adds tests for expired tokens too.

To test:
- Apply this patch
- Run:
  $ kshell
 k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/oauth.t
=> FAIL: Tests should fail without the rest of the patches.

Bug 20402: Implement OAuth2 authentication for REST API

It implements only the "client credentials" flow with no scopes
support. API clients are tied to an existing patron and have the same
permissions as the patron they are tied to.
API Clients are defined in $KOHA_CONF.

Test plan:
0. Install Net::OAuth2::AuthorizationServer 0.16
1. In $KOHA_CONF, add an  element under :
 
   $CLIENT_ID
   $CLIENT_SECRET
   X 
 
2. Apply patch, run updatedatabase.pl and reload starman
3. Install Firefox extension RESTer [1]
4. In RESTer, go to "Authorization" tab and create a new OAuth2
   configuration:
   - OAuth flow: Client credentials
   - Access Token Request Method: POST
   - Access Token Request Endpoint: http://$KOHA_URL/api/v1/oauth/token
   - Access Token Request Client Authentication: Credentials in request
 body
   - Client ID: $CLIENT_ID
   - Client Secret: $CLIENT_SECRET
5. Click on the newly created configuration to generate a new token
   (which will be valid only for an hour)
6. In RESTer, set HTTP method to GET and url to
   http://$KOHA_URL/api/v1/patrons then click on SEND
   If patron X has permission 'borrowers', it should return 200 OK
   with the list of patrons
   Otherwise it should return 403 with the list of required permissions
   (Please test both cases)
7. Wait an hour (or run the following SQL query:
   UPDATE oauth_access_tokens SET expires = 0) and repeat step 6.
   You should have a 403 Forbidden status, and the token must have been
   removed from the database.
8. Create a bunch of tokens using RESTer, make some of them expires
   using the previous SQL query, and run the following command:
 misc/cronjobs/cleanup_database.pl --oauth-tokens
   Verify that expired tokens were removed, and that the others are
   still there
9. prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/oauth.t

prediction pattern

Hi,

When we choose "month" in subscription lenght type and I enter "12", only one
issues is shown in prediction pattern.
If i choose "issues" in SLT, exact number of issues is displayed in prediction
pattern.
Why  it does not work with months even if I choose monthly for frequency.

Bug 20624: (QA follow-up) Unit tests for missing deps situation

This patch tests the situation in which Net::OAuth2::AuthorizationServer
is missing. It mocks Module::Load::Conditional::can_load and expects the
/token endpoint answers 'Unimplemented grant type' to all requests, and
the 'authenticate_api_request' in 'under' exit with unauthorized (403)
to requests in which the Authorization header is passed containing a
Bearer token, but OAuth2 is not really available.

To test:
- Apply this patch
- Run:
  $ kshell
 k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/oauth.t
=> FAIL: Tests fail because our REST endpoints don't support this
behaviour.

Hi Marcel,
Bouzid worked for our community to implement this development.
We use it as it has been here for 7 years now.
When using  "Link authorities automatically" the authorities are linked
according to the type of authority.
If you enter a person name in a 610, the automatic link will not be made to a
PERSO_NAME authority in 610 because it must be a CORPO_NAME. 
Can you describe test plan that led you to this result?

Bug 17378: Add ability to specify maximum number of items per record

Some libraries want to be able to specify a hard limit on the number of items a
record can have. It would be nice to have this set per record type, but since
most libraries use item level itemtypes, that would make it confusing and
non-intuitive. The simplest and most straight forward approach would just be to
have a system preference. Koha should then just report that it failed to create
an item if the librarian has hit the upper limit specified in the system
preference.

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set the new syspref RecordItemLimit to 3
4) Find a record with 4 or more records
5) Note in the catalog toolbar you cannot choose the add new item option
6) Note in the items editor you can edit items but not add new ones
