I would want to see what that looked like because we are in a situation where we're about to add an academic library that wants to use course reserves. Initially when I heard about Ed's idea of using the course reserves module for a displays manager, I thought it was great, but then when we had the academic library that wants to join us that kind of messes with the idea of using that 1 course reserves module for 2 different purposes. If you can manage something where the Opac can show a button or link that says "Course reserves" next to a different button or link that says "Items on display" out of one module, then I'm all for that. But if the two functions require two separate modules, then I'm for adding a separate module. This patch converts all the internal references to borrowernumber, but displays the cardnumber when showing list of matching users. TEST PLAN - 1) Make sure Course Reserves is being used. Check system preferences. 2) Make sure there is a Course entered. 3) Make sure there is a patron with an cardnumber which breaks the existing javascript (eg. An invalid use of members-menu.inc has been removed from member.tt. To test, apply the patch and open a patron record for editing. The sidebar menu should look correct and all sidebar links should work correctly. View the patrons home page and confirm that nothing has broken. Search the Koha codebase for references to members-menu.inc. There should be none. [4] For the same reason we should switch the lines for NULL and empty string. The undefs you insert should trigger a warn. [5] The line for empty string should not insert undef, but empty string. On check-in the items location is compared ot the location on the left and, if it matches, is updated to the location on the left. This preference replaces ReturnToShelvingCart and InProcessingToShelvingCart preferences. The update statement should insert values that replciate these functions. Note existing functionality of all items in PROC location being returned to permanent_location is preserved by default. They can still be seen by using the --force option of perlcritic This patch also modify t/00-testcritic.t to check all Perl files using the new .perlcriticrc. I'm not sure if this test script is still useful as it is now equivalent to `perlcritic --quiet .` and it looks like it is much slower (approximatively 5 times slower on my machine) Test plan: 1. Run `perlcritic --quiet .` from the root directory. It should output nothing 2. Run `perlcritic --quiet --force .`. It should output 6 errors (5 StringyEval, 1 BarewordFileHandles) 3. Run `TEST_QA=1 prove t/00-testcritic.t` 4. Read the patch.
