Currently, yes after the date, the patron can checkout- the restriction no longer appears on the checkout page. However it does show on the patron account screen (member entry) and it appears to be active. When I try to receive 0 items ("Quantity received: 0") for a order in the page
/cgi-bin/koha/acqui/orderreceive.pl?ordernumber=1=1 I get the
following error when clicking save:

The $datereceived variable is not being processed properly.

ViewPolicy must do what we ask it to do, I don't think it's a good idea to start adding exceptions.
