Have a multibranch system where holds can transfer between 2 or more libraries 2. Have a bib with 2 or more items at different branches. 3. At Branch A checkout Branch A's copy of the item to a patron 4. At Branch B place a record level hold for a Branch B patron (where branch b has a copy of the item available on the shelf) 5. Return Branch A's book at Branch A. It fills the hold for Branch B patron In some cases this makes the patron wait much longer for a hold. It would be great if there was a way to set holds not to fill from other libraries if there was a copy available at the pickup location. Some consortiums have branches that only get deliveries once or twice a week. If they happen to check in an item that could be filled at the pickup branch before the pickup branch scans the hold there, it could take much longer for the patron to get the item. Description ~~~ This is a standard UNIMARC value builder for a subfield - it displays a form to select the values that make up the subfield. Note: With the cataloguing plugin there are a limited number of options available (5) compared with using the qualif authorized values list (Function codes (author, editor, collaborator, etc.) used in UNIMARC 7XX $4 (French)). Also, the text on the form is written in French. Test plan 1) Run the database update to expose the new system preference 2) Set `ContentWarningField` to something sensible, like `599` 3) Add the above select field to one of your frameworks with a subfield `a`. 4) Edit a record with that framework to add a content warning into the record 5) Search for the record and confirm you now see `Content warning: Your test text` 6) Click into the record detail and confirm you see the content warning text there too 7) Bonus points: Assign a new authorized value category to the chosen field and subfield and confirm the staff client display text is used in the above tests. What I always do is generating a few items, and generate a
my $query = { itemnumber => [ $item_1->id, ..., $item_n->id ] };
and then:
$t->get_ok( '...?q=' . $query );

OpenSearch 1.x passes also the tests and is a drop in replacement of ES 7.x so we can be confident enough to advertise support for it also. So unless someone thinks of a problem I'll update the system requirements wikipage with that. --- Finally finished the discussion with Mason about how what to say about all this and ES 6 being EOL and the ES license change and OpenSearch fork. Is that ok if in the wikipage we provide support and license info for each Koha version like this: - ES 6.x: supported, but EOL since 10 Feb 2022 so no more update even in case of security issues - ES 7.x: supported, some phrase to tell that it's not really libre/open source anymore (SSPL license) and it's complicated blablabla - OS 1.x: supported, drop in replacement for ElasticSearch, still unambiguously libre/open source (Apache License 2.0) For those unsure what to pick, recommend OpenSearch 1.x so we don't push people towards a not really libre dependency. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
