this is happening. I imagine it must be happening to more libraries around the 
world as well…



Maybe when the koha-common upgrade ran the koha-l10n package wasn’t available?



Has anyone else bumped into this?



I didn’t realize that we were backporting koha-l10n to other releases than 
23.11, so it hasn’t been on my radar until now.

as far as I have understood we still could use as ES license is still open, tha 
changes only affects to those that change the code of ES that they will be 
forced to publish their own developments, as Koha only uses API and none code 
modification is done, then no problem with ussing ES

Completly different is if Koha wish to use onlye GPL license software

It is with great pleasure I am able to announce the release of Koha 20.05, a 
major release of the Koha open source integrated library system.

This release includes 13 new features, 275 enhancements, 592 bugfixes. Please

It is the work of many librarians, developers and community members who have 
donated a huge number of hours to keep the project moving forward. My thanks go 
out to all who contributed.

This is my final release as a release manager and I'd like to extend my

stepped in during the final weeks of the cycle to ensure the packaging would

It's working for me in Chrome and Safari on OS 10.15.4 in both master
and 19.05.x. What version are you testing in? What are the specific
symptoms of the problem?

I have just realized that koha 18.11 on release notes claims to be able to
authenticate agains moodle and claims bugzilla 3511
https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=3511

But bug 3511 is closed as invalid, as far as I can see koha is able to
authenticate against moodle, but using an invalid bug make me doubt.

is koha able to authenticate agains moodle? I have figured out that Moodle
can work as a CAS, then it is compliance, but invalid closed ;)

[Koha-devel] ElasticSearch Testing

Good morning

I am testing koha performance under different configuration and now I am
testing koha  zebra vs ElasticSearch 5.5 ,5.6 and 6.3 and I am facing an
issue thant I can't solve, now I am going to install kohadev with ES to
check if it works.

The issue is that biblio search with more than one results gets an internal
server error

Can't locate object method "index_name" via package
"Catmandu::Store::ElasticSearch" at
/usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch/Search.pm line 407.

I have manually forced the index_name, but same behaviour, on the other
hand there is no problem of searching authorities...

somebody has faced a similar problem?

until I install proxy mod at apache...

a2enmod headers proxy_http

Once is installed there is no way of start apache... I get this error
at apachectl configtest

We have not deep expertise on apache and plack..

Hi

We experienced the same problem, we fixed it using Amazon SES, is like a
certificate e-mail, it is very easy to use.. Amazon just send a verify mail
to the address from you're going to send mails, and once is verified it
becomes a 'certified' mail and all the major firewall, gmail allow to
delivery them.

Obviosusly you have to configure your mta to send mails using Amazon SES
and it also have a cost, but it is quite low

not a official community new it was a presentation in Kohacon11

easily add their own frequencies and numbering patterns beyond the default
ones, and have them saved and ready to use when creating a subscription
(instead of doing it every time).  I’m very excited about this one. We can
put everyone’s patterns and frequencies on the wiki, so everyone can share,
just like SQL  http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Libraryand
JQuery http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/JQuery_Library** libraries.
Then the next trick is to build a database to tie specific titles to those
patterns, so people don’t have to make them from scratch each* time.

 Note that it doesn't (and never was expected to) manage worldwide
