Sorry I I've somehow ommited the version (0.11.3) and forgot to add a porposed
fix: when selecting ghe image the user should have an option to select a piece
of the photo to add (exactly like selecting it in the Global Pesonality
configuration). Optionaly Kopete can scale the image to some standarized size
on the user's wish.

appearing. At first I thought that it is a bug, bus just a while ago I saw that
the images are just too large. But they cannot be removed.

Some contacts on the MSN list appear offline, when they are actually online.
This bug may be because they started a conversation as the contact list was
loading, or just a bug with the lastest MSN protocol (7.1 ? )

Unfortunately that's all the information I have, but if other people get this
bug, we might be able to narrow it down

thanks,

Try to make a real clean, make clean may not be enought, cmake is a
retard sometimes.
Else you probabily triggered a bug with kde4_install_libtool_file
because of one of the option you use.

This is a bug which occurs with many applications like kopete and kaffeine.
But every time I report it with one application I get these "worksforme"
reponeses from the developers.
Can you please test this with a new installed (takes about 10mins) kubuntu with
kaffeine and kopete and you´ll see that the bug is there!

[kopete-devel] Error to build the kopete

2006-08-03 Thread Hui Jin
Hello All,

I am developing the QQ plugin for kopete, and met some problems here:

I once setup the kde4 environment with kdelibs4_snapshot, and it
worked fine. Four days ago, I found the updated kopete is not built
correctly, and kdelibs4_snapshot is not available. So I decided to
upgrade my whole environment to the trunk.

I follow the howto in kde.org, so far so good. When I install kopete,
I got the following error:

-- Installing /usr/local/KDE-4.0/lib/libkopeteaddaccountwizard.so
CMake Error: Error in cmake code at
/home/kde-devel/kdenetwork/obj/kopete/kopete/config/accounts/cmake_install.cmake:30:
FILE INSTALL cannot find file
"/home/kde-devel/kdenetwork/obj/lib/kcm_kopete_accountconfig.la" to
install.
make: *** [install] Error 255

Ok, I then run cd $BUILD;
  ccmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local/KDE-4.0 -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debug ../

cd kopete; make && sudo make install, it works again. And kopete is
launched successfully, however, all plugins in kopete are failed to
launch, they just complain that:

/usr/local/KDE-4.0/lib/kde4/kcm_kopete_accountconfig.so unresolved
symbol: create_KopeteAccountConfigFactory

I've make clean; ccmake ; make. And the same scenario happens again.

Great thanks for any feedback and hints.
