KR> Camping at the gathering in Chino

2014-08-17 Thread Mike Simmons
This is a re-post as I have had no one contact me yet and the
gathering is only 3 week away- there must be interest at camping on
the airport site

Currently there are no camping options for camping at the Chino
airport for the gathering, only at near by campgrounds. The insurance
requirement that Steve mentioned in the gathering notes will cost
$750 for the 3 nights in the grass area at the airport. He is also
looking into indoor facilities in a hanger. I have volunteered to
take a pole of those going to the gathering and desiring to camp at
the gathering site to see if we can come up with the money to cover
the insurance costs. If only 10 people agree to pay $75 then that
would cover the insurance and the cost for the 3 nights would be less
than the $35 per night charges at the nearby campground. If more than
10 want to camp then the per camper cost is even less. Please email
me off list at ml.simmons at frontier.com and let me know if you would
be interested in camping on site at the gathering. Steve says that
the park there will accommodate campers, camp trailers and tents.
Once I get an idea of how many would be interested we can determine
if covering the insurance cost is a viable option. Please let me know
asap as the gathering is only a few weeks away - thanks
