It will be fine to use that stuff.  Just coat the ends with silicon to seal 
from liquids getting in and then band the ends. With a little searching, the 
Bandit Jrs are affordable, and the finished lines look professional.

fire sleeve. So I can by the one from arcraft spruce, 12 dollar a feet or some
stuf from ebay. Bestflex is the name a 14 dollar 3 feet.

Holy sh$@!  Put on steel braided hose and be done with it, or has it gotten
that expensive as well.  The must not be wanting to sell much of that, but
I'll bet 90% of the price goes out for legal insurance.
