No problem, thanks anyway

> >Can I get a t-shirt even if I'm not going to the gathering?? + Only if you know someone attending the Gathering and we have an extra your size. I am not taking orders and mailing hats / shirts as in years past due to the time and effort involved. It was more of a favor than a money maker and after nine years of "doing favors" I've decided not to go that route this year. SORRY.. Larry Flesner co-host

In a post a week or so back I indicated I had ordered shirts. I received several e-mails asking if it is now too late to order a hat / shirt. The answer is NO, IT'S NOT TOO LATE. Just go to the Gathering web page www.krgathering.org and go to the "registration" page, register, and place your order. The cutoff date will probably be early September. I hope to have a photo of this years shirts / hats in the near future. They are the same blue denim shirts that were a hit back in 2009. Cost should be under $25 / shirt. Larry Flesner

To check out the "fashion statement" for the 2005 Gathering, go to www.krgathering.org and click on the picture of the hat and shirt. Thanks, Bob Lee, for all the work on putting the site on line and keeping it updated. How many more days ? Larry Flesner

Nicevery nice. One thing I did notice is that the texture of that fabric looks like a fiberglass lay up with lots of pin holes. :-) -Original Message- From: krnet-boun...@mylist.net [mailto:krnet-boun...@mylist.net]On Behalf Of larry flesner Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 6:58 AM To: KRnet Subject: KR> Gathering shirts/hats To check out the "fashion statement" for the 2005 Gathering, go to www.krgathering.org and click on the picture of the hat and shirt. These shirts have a bit of a "weave" and are not just a smooth fabric but a good "sandable primer" should take care of that !!! :-) Larry Flesner

Hey Larry -- You should get captains bars for the pilots so you can tell them from the passengers. The uniforms look great. Your KR Gathering "fashion co-oridinator" has made the decision to change the color of the Gathering shirts and hats for the 2005 Gathering from Navy, as previously stated, to Stone, a very light khaki or darker off-white. While fond of the Navy color, it looked a bit dark after the shirt was embroidered and allowed to hang on the rack in the hallway for several days. I sincerely hope this decision does not cause any great concern to anyone and that your enthusiasm for attending the Gathering will reach YEEE HAAA pitch come September. There is no need to respond to this e-mail unless this decision has caused you to re-think your KR project, not attend the Gathering, give up flying, sell the kids, or other such irrational actions. :-) Larry Flesner 2005 KR Gathering Host

Hi Larry Are you needing warm bodies to staff the sign in/info table this year? Count me in to help with it. I can get there a day early to help with other stuff, if you need it. Guys, if you really want to meet and greet your fellow KR's, help answer the hundred question each and every visitor has when they first arrive at the gathering, and take a load off Larry's shoulders so he can focus on running the showThen help out at the sign in desk. The desk is the main depenser of info of who, what, when, and where at the gathering. Larry has a big job so we should all ask him what we can we do to help things run smoothly.
