KR> sorry about the subject info needed

2014-03-02 Thread mfreeman2 at indy.rr.com
In case anyone else is in need of type 4 parts, I have a clean case, new stock
pistons with rings, connecting rods and cylinders and some miscellaneous parts.
I'm not sure if I still have a good stock crankshaft, would have to look and
see.

KR> Sorry for the trouble

Glenn,

You might let Mark know the names of the other email providers. It
sounds like the KRNet may have been added to some blacklists. He'll have to
track'em down and request to be removed. They'll test his system to make
sure it's not a relay or spambot or whatever and remove it. It's a pain in
the butt, I have to do it constantly for several of my customers. It usually
happens when people are too lazy to ask to be removed, so they just report
it as spam to their ISP's

Take care,
L.G.

"You will probably find as time goes by that a lot in sport aircraft

whihc I have a bit of an interest in ), line up a few planks on the river
bank with a plumb bob and a thumb, and away you go, undercarrige for
instance, there is not a lot of design information available, its a case of
this works, so everyone uses this, then follows over the years a process of
empirical development, I am surprised that thngs happen this way, I would
have thought that a more engineering approach would be more appropriate,

If you'll go to HELP while in Outlook (without any messages "expanded", then
"contents and index", search for "attachments" and pick "HTML", it'll tell
you that if you have chosen HTML then your messages are sent as plain text
with an HTML attachment. Since the mail server is fixed to strip out HTML
(as a virus and obnoxious image filter), so when the message gets to the
list, there is an attachment, but it's empty. So to fix it, go under TOOLS,
OPTIONS, SEND, and change MAIL SENDING FORMAT to PLAIN, rather than HTML.

Sending messages in HTML allows you to send web content such as embedded
images, cute little smiley faces, spinning propellers, and that sort of
thing. Since I am "no fun", I don't have much use for it (it just makes the
file size larger and more distracting IMHO).

The truth about attachments is that last time I tried to eliminate
absolutely all attachments, those folks who send HTML and some other formats
stopped being able to post. So right now we're just operating under a 10K
limit, which is smaller than most viruses that have been going around.
Anybody that knows how to make "Mailman" strip them ALL without side effects
would be my hero, since the people that host this particular list are
compeletely unresponsive, and I've yet been able to find a way anywhere else
on the web.

If I'm wrong about any of this, more savvy Outlook Express users are welcome
to correct me. I don't claim to be an expert, I just do the best I can.

By the way, Bobby Muse's plane is the best looking KR that I've personally
seen, although I haven't seen it for a few years. The interior is
spectacularly detailed.

2008-10-12 Thread Mark Jones
Mark,
I am not sure that is the correct fix for Bobby. My "Mail Sending Format" in
Outlook Express has always been coded HTML and they always post. Now
directly below that option is "News Sending Format" and I have that coded
plain text. Could that possibly allow my post through? I did look through
all options for a "send as attachment" on/off switch but have not found it
yet. I know it is there somewhere.
