[Bug 135147] Re: Heavy disk I/O usage when starting KMail (reiserfs)

2007-09-27 Thread Luka Renko
OK, nice to know there is sensible workaround.

I have discussed with upstream and they are aware or the issue and will look
into it:
[11:13] till: does enterprise branch do anything special in regards to
posix acl? we have some performance issue reports on reiserfs and would be good
to understand how does enterprise change this
[11:13] till: https://launchpad.net/bugs/135147
[11:16] I've seen that, yes.
[11:16] Could be a kdelibs bug, I'll have a look.
[11:16] I incidently wrote the acl stuff as well, in kdelibs. ;)
[11:16] We have a deadline though, atm, so I won't get to it today,
likely.

[Bug 145245] Re: Kmail crash when trying to reply to an encrypted mail

2007-09-27 Thread Luka Renko
Bruno, there were quite some crypto improvements upstream, so it would be good
to know if this problem is still reproducible with latest upstream version. I
have packaged snapshot from yesterday and it is available in my PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~lure/+archive

Can you upgrade to this version and try to reproduce this problem? If
you can reproduce it, please attach new stack trace, so that I can the
forward this request to upstream developers.
