[Bug 147838] Re: konversation crashed while reconneting to server
Good evening, I am working on triaging bugs tonight, you may have noticed by the large # of bug emails you have gotten w/ my name on it. Anyways I'm trying to track down this bug. It seems some of the bugs you have reported are dealing w/ problems in relation to libthread_db.so.1. i will start the process of tracking that down to see what is going on. Are you still having all the crashes that you have written bugs about? [Bug 123914] Re: KNetworkManager doesn't initially connect to wired network
I'm still seeing a related issue on a Lenovo ThinkPad T60 (ethernet chipset 82573L). When I boot the laptop (running kubuntu gutsy) with the network cable disconnected, knetworkmanager doesn't register the interface at all. I tried the suggestion above, to enter offline mode and going online again, without any success. I also tried restarting networking in general but that didn't work either. [Bug 145337] Re: Brightness key stopped working after update [Gutsy]
Thank you all for fast response. I have uploaded the fix to my PPA and will ask for testers (as I do not have the HW to properly test the fix) later when packages get built. Yeah, these commands works. I Can Up/Down the bright using Power Manager but the hotkeys brightup and brightdown dont works. [Bug 159388] kdm startup script has wrong behaviour
Public bug reported: The startup script of kdm ignores the administrator changes as it uses a generated config. This is simply WRONG on a *NIX system. The changes made by the administrator in the /etc files are supposed to be the LAW for the system. [Bug 155784] Re: [gutsy] /usr/lib/libssl.so missing
First of all, I'm talking about libssl.so.0, not libssl.so (the latter is only needed at build time and its certainly not meant to solve runtime problems). As far as I can see, the only solution is for Trolltech to link to the soname (which in this case is libssl.so.0.9.8), which anyhow they have to do if they want to maintain ABI compatibility (I think they have not yet understood the peculiarity of this library). Believe me, if there was something I could do to solve this problem from our end, I will be more than happy to do. -- [gutsy] /usr/lib/libssl.so missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155784 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for qt4-x11 in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 155784] Re: [gutsy] /usr/lib/libssl.so missing
I can't really see how adding a symlink will break compability. If so, loads of programs should get broken when you install libssl-dev, which does install the symlink. Anyway, am I to understand that nothing will be done to work around this in current and future Ubuntu releases, and that this will not work until Qt manages to guess the full filename of libssl.so.x.y.z, something they have stated above they will not do? -- [gutsy] /usr/lib/libssl.so missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155784 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for qt4-x11 in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
