[Bug 1215918] Re: import failure when using a project name with dashes with QML Extension Library + Tabbed Touch UI
I filed a bug [1] against QML Documentation [2], but the feedback from upstream was that dash does not qualify as valid in module names. However QtC allows the dash to be in a module name... [Bug 1215918] Re: import failure when using a project name with dashes with QML Extension Library + Tabbed Touch UI
I have checked how QtC validates the QML Extension project and module names. The validator regular expression '^[A-Za-z0-9]+([A-Za-z0-9-]*[A-Za-z0-9]+)?(\.[A-Za-z0-9]+([-A-Za-z0-9]*[A-Za-z0-9]+)?)*$' specifically allows the - character in the module names. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to qtcreator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215918 Title: import failure when using a project name with dashes with QML Extension Library + Tabbed Touch UI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtcreator/+bug/1215918/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1215172] Re: Qt Creator on Ubuntu 12.10 cannot load Ubuntu plugin
Can you check the output of following commands: dpkg -l ubuntu-sdk dpkg -l libqt5scripttools5 In the screenshot the plugin complains about missing libQt5ScriptTools.so.5. I'm not getting that on my saucy installation, and I'm also using the saucy archives version of the SDK. If I try to remove the libqt5scripttools5, it wants to remove 'ubuntu-sdk' package as well. However, it seems this is at the same time bug in the Qt Creator plugin's dependencies - even though officially we instruct everyone to install 'ubuntu-sdk', we can't rely on it if qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu is installed alone (it should work). So as an user, please check you have 'ubuntu-sdk' package installed. On our side, we will add a dependency to the plugin even though the users are still recommended to install 'ubuntu-sdk' package as well. ** Also affects: qtcreator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to qtcreator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215172 Title: Qt Creator on Ubuntu 12.10 cannot load Ubuntu plugin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-qtcreator-plugins/+bug/1215172/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
