[Bug 1262631] [NEW] Qt Creator 2.8.1 fails to build against Qt 5.2

2013-12-19 Thread Timo Jyrinki
Public bug reported:

I'm getting the following error message when trying to compile Qt
Creator 2.8.1 (the current version in trusty) against Qt 5.2:

--
In file included from
/home/ubuntu/delete/qtcreator-2.8.1/src/plugins/qmldesigner/components/itemlibrary/itemlibrarywidget.cpp:34:0:
/home/ubuntu/delete/qtcreator-2.8.1/src/plugins/qmldesigner/components/itemlibrary/itemlibrarymodel.h:36:45:
 fatal error: private/qd
eclarativelistmodel_p.h: No such file or directory
 #include private/qdeclarativelistmodel_p.h
--

The rebuild is required, to get rid of the libqt5core5 dependency.
Because of ABI break all Qt packages need a rebuild.

A rebuild could be placed into https://launchpad.net/~canonical-
qt5-edgers/+archive/qt5-daily PPA.

[Bug 1226707] Re: QtCreator examples viewer non-functional

2013-12-19 Thread robdanet
That's a nasty one. On my system the problem occurs on pressing any link
in the welcome screen. Though, program freezes clicking on examples link
and keeps running clicking other links.

[Bug 1262748] [NEW] package error upgrading to saucy kde 4.12 from kde-backports

2013-12-19 Thread Mitch Golden
Public bug reported:

I am getting this:

/var/cache/apt/archives/libakonadi-xml4_4%3a4.12.0-0ubuntu1~ubuntu13.10~ppa1_amd64.deb
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libakonadi-xml.so.4', which is also in package
kdepim-runtime 4:4.11.2-0ubuntu1

when I try to upgrade from muon.

From the command prompt, I am able to fix (I believe) as

$ sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 kdepimlibs-dbg : Depends: libakonadi-xml4 (=
4:4.12.0-0ubuntu1~ubuntu13.10~ppa1) but it is not installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

$ sudo apt-get install libakonadi-xml4

The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  libtiff4
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove it.

[Bug 1242633] Re: unity pointer barriers sru bug

2013-12-19 Thread Chris Halse Rogers
Hello Maarten, or anyone else affected,

Accepted qt4-x11 into precise-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at
http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.6 in a few
hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag
from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the
bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to
verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help
us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance!
