[Bug 972279] Re: Konsole displays bold text with normal weight
I have this problem also. I am using konsole version 2.13.2 on KDE version 4.13.3 ( Ubuntu version 14.04). Regarding the comment in #6: there is no file 60-droid-sans-mono-fonts.conf on my system. None of the other suggestions helped either.. If I open a gnome-terminal and type echo `tput bold`bold`tput sgr0` it works fine (I get bold text) but it does not work in konsole.. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to konsole in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/972279 Title: Konsole displays bold text with normal weight To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/konsole/+bug/972279/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

I have a similar problem, see https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthread.php?66770-Live-USB-does-not-bootp=361703#post361703 I tried some more things, and the only thing I get to work is with the dd command: - Kali Linux - Ubuntu 14.04.1 iso image - Kubuntu 14.04.1 iso image What does not work: (dd nor usb creator nor Unetbootin) - Kubuntu 14.10 (I even borrowed a dvd RW from a neighbour and burned the image on the dvd) - Kubuntu 14.04 initial iso image - Kubuntu 15.04 daily - mint 17 As 14.04 is an LTS, IMO the problem should be corrected there as wel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1325801 Title: failed to boot from USB disk with error: gfxboot.c32: not a COM32R Image boot: To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1325801/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 344526]
@Artem: In 2012 KDE cleaned up the bug tracker and closed many bugs that were not actively being worked on. Supposedly these are considered desired features but due to lacking manpower they were closed so that KDE would not have many open bugs, which some people consider to be a sign of bad software. See the third graph on this page to understand the matter: http://reports.kde.org/en/projects/kde-community/bugs_report Notice on that page that a similar Clean up was done when KDE moved from KDE 3 to KDE 4, as it was not certain if the bugs filed were still valid for KDE 4 or not. If you would like to see this issue resolved, then RESOLVED LATER pretty much means that you can reopen it if you intend to work on it. When someone is willing to work on it, then LATER has arrived! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/344526 Title: System tray in KDE 4.2 (Intrepid) does not collaps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kde-baseapps/+bug/344526/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1354924] Re: Networkmanager does not autoconnect to wireless network
From reply #13: According to SteveRiley, on the Kubuntu Forum, if you enable All users may connect to this network in the settings, then the connection does autoconnect. I tried this once or twice with my wifi networks and it seems to work. https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthread.php?66702-NetworkManagement- widget-not-connecting-to-wifi-automaticallyp=361413 This does not work for me. PC: HP Pavilion g7-1070us 64-bit i3 02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01) 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 05) I was running Kubuntu 14.04.1 w/KDE 4.14.2 perfectly on this laptop. I was fully dist-upgraded and did a release upgrade from the console: sudo do-release-upgrade -d When it finished and I rebooted, network-manager did not auto-start. Before the KDM login screen, these two messages were presented: Waiting for network configuration... then after awhile, Waiting up to 60 more seconds for network configuration... At the end of the 60 seconds, KDM login screen presented and I logged in. I had no network connections. Running sudo service network-manager start from the console started both my ethernet and wireless connections. Editing both connections and marking All users may connect to this network in the settings DOES NOT servive a logout/reboot. I really would like to know why, and how to remedy this. The only thing I can point to is the message that a 'fatal error occured' right at the end of the release-upgrade process: Total disk space freed by localepurge: 0 KiB Error in function: A fatal error occurred Please report this as a bug and include the files /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log and /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log in your report.
