[Bug 1594193] [NEW] KDE Telepathy should not be installed by default as it is not developed anymore
Public bug reported: As we can read in this blog post http://martys.typepad.com/blog/2016/06 /new-maintainers-wanted-kde-telepathy-kaccounts-plasma-notifications- and-others.html (it was also posted on ML), KDE Telepathy is not developed for a long time and now also need to maintainer to just keep it incurrent state. It has also some bugs that makes some services it offers to be broken. I think Kubuntu should drop KDE Telepathy from metapackage. If any user needs it, he should install it manually. We shouldn't use by defautl software that is not developed and might be left unmaintained some day. ** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ktp kubuntu telepathy yakkety ** Description changed: As we can read in this blog post http://martys.typepad.com/blog/2016/06 /new-maintainers-wanted-kde-telepathy-kaccounts-plasma-notifications- and-others.html (it was also posted on ML), KDE Telepathy is not developed for a long time and now also need to maintainer to just keep it incurrent state. [Bug 1258422] Re: Maximized windows go under panel if panel attached to screen edge between two monitors
I have the same problem since I upgraded to Kubuntu 16.04 with: KDE Frameworks 5.18.0 Qt 5.5.1 (gebouwd tegen 5.5.1) However, I only have one screen on my laptop though. The issue is on the second panel. My primary panel is ok. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kde-workspace in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1258422 Title: Maximized windows go under panel if panel attached to screen edge between two monitors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kdebase-workspace/+bug/1258422/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1502556] Re: major memory leak on plasmashell
I also see this memory leak with the nvidia driver v346 and the nouveau driver as well, so no real difference here for me. What we probably need is a backport of these two patches mentioned in this KDE bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344879#c122 otherwise plasmashell will continue to eat more and more memory with every plasma screen update, like opening a plasmoid, systray item menu, etc. I tried Fedora 24, which is build against QT 5.6 and it does not suffer from this problem. ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #344879 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344879 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to plasma-workspace in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1502556 Title: major memory leak on plasmashell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-workspace/+bug/1502556/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
