I'm glad you looked into this a bit harder, I couldn't see the problem at first, until I realised you were using the application in Czech. The problem is that when the radio buttons are clicked, the device name converted using the str function not the unicode function. [Bug 139940] Kopete crashes when using full Yahoo email in account setup
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kopete When a Yahoo account is added to Kopete (Version 0.12.5 on KDE 3.5.7 / Kubuntu Gusty) it causes Kopete to crash. The Yahoo account follows the style; user at yahoo.com This crash is reproducible 100% of the time.
