Nono, I just upgrade packages in software updater (precise to precise :) ). And after that it stopped to work, I do not know why LightDM stopped to work, it is strange, it just show me black screen and that's all. I tried to reinstall it, reinstall unity greeter and it worked for once but next reboot it was the same situation, black screen. KDM works and before I reinstalled LightDM allowed me to log-into Unity etc., but after reinstallation of LightDM, it doesn't. Quite strange, I do not think it is connected. It is not fixed. Now, on 2 my computers and 2 other pcs of my friends, the Muon-Updater freezed, leaving OS in the bad condition. In a better case, dpkg --configure-a or something like that has to be done. (We had to put it manualy into konsole, I think BUTTON in the dialogue window for IT would be very useful - like You have corrupted database of packages, probably because of interrupting updating process, do not worry, you can easily repair it by clicking Repair Button or Cancel if you want to do it later. Step by step well this will be quite hard... The only thing, these situations and computers have the same, is the high load of CPU, sometimes GPU, RAM and also may be a big amount of data writing on HDD. It does for example when I untar a really BIG files, or when I start a more demanding game (for example on netbook) etc... simply when the computer has to use all of its sources to do the task. These computers are for example: Laptops: Lenovo Y550P - 4 cores i7, 4GB DDR, NVIDIA GPU ACER Aspire One - AMD K125, 2GB DDR, ATI GPU ACER Aspire 5930g - C2D, 4GB, NVIDIA GPU IT does also on 2 desktops I have at home. As you can see, it is quite a wide spectrum. As I am typing here it started on my aspire One, just by starting a game HeroesOfNewerth (linux version) with low settings. It does now in the game and also system notifications are affected. Simply all of the sound in the OS. Another attempts to run systemsettings aren't succesfull. [Bug 757455] [NEW] installing firefox in kubuntu results in infinite loop
Public bug reported: I clicked on firefox installer in kubuntu and the installation failed on 99% (with label installing ubufox) and did nothing. I killed it and then restarted (again by click on firefox installer in the menu) and then it was OK. Similar error I got when installing plasma-widget-networkmanagement.
