[kvm-devel] KVM Test result, kernel 90af65.. , userspace ad220a..

2007-11-19 Thread Zhao, Yunfeng
Hi, all
This is today's KVM test result against kvm.git
90af65e22b7ef28aa0dc6d16ff42dee1b5329a82 and kvm-userspace.git
ad220afdd1473a13dca92d88ea9daae335ba8347.

One issue has been fixed:
1. 64bit host crashes when booting guests
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=893831&aid=1832246&group_id=180599

Old issues:
1. Save/restore causes 64bit host to crash
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=893831&aid=1831586&group_id=180599
2. xpsp2 with 2vpus may fail to boot
"-no-kvm-irqchip" has the same issue.
It exists on paxville, woodcrest and clowertown, but doesn't exist on weybridge
and santarosa.
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1805017&group_id=180599&atid=893831
3. Cannot boot 32bit smp RHEL5.1 guest
Only "-on-kvm" can boot it.
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=893831&aid=1812043&group_id=180599
4 Some ltp cases fail on KVM guests
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1741316&group_id=180599&atid=893831
5. 64bit KVM guest fails to save/restore.
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1824525&group_id=180599&atid=893831
6. Timer of SMP linux guest timer is inaccurate
By network timer the time-cost of make kernel is about 180s, while by guest
timer it's 137s.
