I'd like to have the same for pt-BR. You can copy all content of pt to
pt-BR.

Can it be done?

It's done (in Pootle). However, a few strings were lacking in pt, so
they're now also lacking in pt_BR. The FAQ's module was already
translated to pt, so I copied its file too.

If you think that pt_PT and pt_BR will most likely stay identical, I can
actually remove the project from Pootle, and we can just ask Christian
to copy the files himself when updating.

This is the small amount of custom strings that are used on the
silverstripe based website (i.e. (www|).libreoffice.org).

It is mainly used on the download page for the automatically generated
links.

e.g. http://www.libreoffice.org/download
the "Donload using Bittorrent", "Get details (md5sum,…)" and other
strings on that page. (as that part is generated automatically by the
CMS and not entered as page content.

Could you please add also Italian?

Done. Feel free not to work on faqs-it.php if you're not using the

Hi Christian

Actually, if you have your hands in this page, can we be a more explicit
with the files? I mean,

Under windows,

Main package:
LibO_3.4.5_Win_x86_install_multi.exe 191 MB

Help package:
LibO_3.4.5_Win_x86_helppack_pt-BR.exe 9.7 MB (pt-BR - Português
(Brasil))

where "Main package" and "Help package" are localizable...

That would be nice indeed.
Also, for languages that don't localize help, a rather ugly string is shown:

LibO_3.4.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.exe 7.9 MB (en-US - English (US))
(fallback)

I think it should probably be rewritten somehow, but not really sure
how. Something like this comes to mind, but it's probably a bit too long:

LibO_3.4.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.exe 7.9 MB (en-US - English (US) –
help files are not available in chosen locale)

Ideas welcome.

For ja_JP could you add the same patterns as the following one for zh_CN:

Hi Christian

Actually, if you have your hands in this page, can we be a more explicit
with the files? I mean,

Under windows,

Main package:
LibO_3.4.5_Win_x86_install_multi.exe 191 MB

Help package:
LibO_3.4.5_Win_x86_helppack_pt-BR.exe 9.7 MB (pt-BR - Português
(Brasil))

where "Main package" and "Help package" are localizable...

Thank you

Olivier

Hi Christian

I'd like to have the same for pt-BR. You can copy all content of pt to
pt-BR.

Can it be done?

Thank you

Thanks Christian. Missing strings are:

$lang['en_US']['Donationpage']['AMOUNT']='Amount:';
$lang['en_US']['Downloadpage']['DETAILLINK']='Get details (md5sum,…)';

Might be that this was missed when creating the module - the "master"
file is here:
https://github.com/tdf/cms-code/blob/master/mysite/lang/en_US.php

> And  faqs-pt.php  comes from? The same?

Yes, but that is only a fraction of the module (few strings that are
used in a template that is replaced by a custom one.

But I think none of the NL-projects actually use the faq-module...
(and also the FAQ-module on www.libreoffice.org is not used that much either..
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/faq/ )

ciao
