Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Untranslatable strings in UI

2015-01-07 Thread Tom Davies
Hi :)
Is it on Windows or some other OS?

Looks to me like it is trying to use the wrong UTF encoding/decoding.
I'm not sure if that is set in the email client or in the system.

It might be something to do with fonts, maybe, but again i am not sure
where to set that.

I'm trying to send this as plain text although many email clients
default to html. I don't think that is the issue but just in case it
is then it might make things easier.
Regards from
Tom :)

[libreoffice-l10n] Removing 4.2 project, updating templates for 4.4

2015-01-07 Thread Christian Lohmaier
Hi *,

I'll be removing the 4.2 projects from pootle and then update against
templates for 4.4 project.

in help, two strings were changed (Insert - Media - Image → Insert - Image)

in ui, strings regarding the openCL configuration were added

I'll put pootle into maintenance mode this time during the update.

For projects using offline translation and uploading files:

* please try to avoid adding back obsolete files I keep removing them,
but they keep popping up each time

ciao
Christian

[libreoffice-l10n] unreadable (decoded improperly) messages on the list)

Not worried regarding malicious mails or similar, but worried that
your mailclient cannot cope with base64 encoded messages :-)

#
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

SGksCgpwbGVhc2UgY29uZmlybToKCmh0dHBzOi8vYnVncy5mcmVlZGVza3RvcC5vcmcvc2hvd19i

bGwgYmUgcHVibGljbHkgYXJjaGl2ZWQgYW5kIGNhbm5vdCBiZSBkZWxldGVkCg==
#

looks fine with me, the base64 block decodes properly here. And even
if it doesn't like utf-8 for some reason, it would still decode
correctly in us-ascii (as in this case no non-ascii letters are
included.

Your client ignores the transfer-encoding and instead tries to
interpret it as byte-sqeuence or similar... That's really broken. the
g=== at the end is about the only stuff that remained intact from the
base64 message (that undecoded should also only contain ascii, so
whatever encoding your mailclient thinks it should be using, it is
broken)

ciao
