[libreoffice-l10n] vaguely formulated strings, procedure?
Hello all, What is the correct (and productive) workflow procedure if the UI string is just vaguely formulated? Not incorrect as such, just vague, inconcrete, overly cryptic? E.g., in Writer's 'Edit paragraph style' dialog, 'Alignment' tab, 'Last line' combobox (activated if 'alignment' is set to 'Justified'), the 1st variant is 'Default'. Choosing the 'Default' there left-aligns the last line of the justified paragraph (predicted by the graphic preview, too). This string is definitely asking to be changed to 'Left'. There are similar examples, I believe. -Yury -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: l10n+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
[libreoffice-l10n] Testing new Pootle version
Hi all, If you have some time to test the new Pootle instance,it's here: https://translations-test.documentfoundation.org/ There is still some remaining bugs and Dwayne are working on them: - legal agreements: not remembered, Dwayne should have disable it - signup: not possible for the moment - uploads potentially aren't capturing when a user blanks a unit offline. The migration to the new server will be done on the 8th of June, until then you can test and give your feedback on this list. Thanks in advance and thanks again to all who have already tested :) Cheers Sophie -- Sophie Gautier sophie.gaut...@documentfoundation.org GSM: +33683901545 IRC: sophi Co-founder - Release coordinator The Document Foundation -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: l10n+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
