Re: [libreoffice-l10n] "are flagged" vs "appear as a typo"

2017-11-14 Thread Mikhail Balabanov
Hi,

Strictly speaking, spellchecker’s markings don’t mean ‘this is definitely a
typo’, they rather mean ‘this word is not in my dictionary, so it maybe
needs your attention’. So I would prefer ‘are flagged‘, but I am also not a
native speaker.

Cheers,
Mihail

For me, appears as a typo is more precise than flagged, but I'm not an
English native speaker.

[libreoffice-l10n] "are flagged" vs "appear as a typo"

2017-11-12 Thread Marco A.G.Pinto
Hello!

Sorry for this philosophical question.

Can I replace in the GB dictionary FAQ the word "appears as a typo" by
"are/is flagged"?

FAQ:
http://marcoagpinto.cidadevirtual.pt/faq.html

I believe that both mean the same, but I need some advice before
changing all occurrences.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
