Hi,

Lately there were done some changes to the whatcanIdoforlibreoffice.org
website, as
a few strings where not added as part of locales file and couldn't be
translated in other languages. So from the list of localized files here:
https://git.libreoffice.org/infra/WhatCanIDoForLibreOffice/+/refs/heads/master/locales/

the following ones needs to be edited: /cs.ini ;   cy.ini ; es.ini ;
de.ini ;   fr.ini;   it.ini ;    ko-kr.ini; pt-br.ini;    sl.ini;/

Add the following part at the bottom of each file, and replace the
english version with the corresponding language:

    bugs = Bugs
    qa = Quality Assurance
    tests = Tests
    file-a-bug = File a bug
    qa-blogs = QA blogs
    bug-hunting-sessions = Bug hunting sessions
    qa-programs = QA programs
    bibisect = Bibisect
    regression = Regression
    automated-tests = Automated Tests
    test-pre-releases = Test pre-releases
    report-a-ux-bug = Report a UX bug

    join-design-team = Join Design Team
    whiteboards = Whiteboards
    blueprints = Blueprints
    design-mailing-lists = Design mailing-lists
    join-design-weekly-weekly-meetings = Join design weekly meetings
    support-mailing-lists = Mailing Lists
    support-ask-libreoffice = Ask LibreOffice
    translate = Translate
    make-friends = Make friends
    give-presentations = Give presentations
    help-contents = Help contents
    books = Books
    infra-learn = Learn
    infra-participate = Participate
    c-plusplus = C++

    java-android = Java/Android
    branding = Branding

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Inclusion of ScriptForge strings into Weblate

2022-03-08 Thread sophi

Hi Rafael,

Just to confirm you that I passed the link you sent to Christian and he
said it would be feasible and would take care of it.

Cheers

Hi!

My name is Rafael Lima and I am part of the team working on the development
of the ScriptForge library, which is shipped as a built-in Basic library in
LibreOffice.

We have a POT file that contains all the strings used in the library and we
would like them to be available for translation in Weblate. However, we do
not know how to proceed.

The file scriptforge.pot is located here:
https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/wizards/source/scriptforge/po/ScriptForge.pot

We already have two ".po" files for "en" and "pt" locales which were added
via Gerrit. So I believe that by using Weblate we'll have to replace these
files.

We would appreciate any help with this matter.

Many thanks!
Rafael Lima

[libreoffice-l10n] is the wiki's "Deadlines" theory still valid ?

2022-03-08 Thread Cristian Secară
The Deadlines paragraph on the Translating LibreOffice wiki page [1] says this:

===
For every build:

• Translations are extracted from Weblate on Tuesday
• They are committed to Git before tagging, deadline for each tag is Monday

So please, add your changes to Weblate on Monday to make sure they will be
included.
===

On Tuesday 8 March, the Windows dev packages for 7.3 (20:10 file time) [2] and
master (03:22 file time) [3] still does not include the latest translated
strings. This would have been helpful for an overall/specific checking and to
identify which main UI strings remained untranslated.
