[lace] Christmas exchange and lace
Thanks to Clay and Sue Babbs coming to my rescue there are now three more photos on my Hurwitzend folder. Clay and I were discussing her tree and lace decorations and I explained that our tiny tree was now too small to hold all my pieces, some from exchanges but also lots of other little pieces done by myself or gifts from friends. Some are momentoes of lost family and friends including our two pet cats so I made a red curtain strip to hang from one of my internal doors and pin them on there each December. It is lovely to take them out of the tissue paper and pin them on. We also bought two glass angel bells which my husband decided needed lace skirts, so they still hang on the tree and the top angel had a lace gown made up using a strip of Christine Springett lace using gold beads in strategic places. Clay asked to see pictures so I took a couple of new ones showing the curtain with lace, the tree angel on her own and also the tree with all 3 angels on along with the little robins and lots of glass baubles although there is already a photo of the glass angel bell on her own in the folder. So with Sue Babbs help they are now in the right folder, something I couldnât manage to achieve.
