[lace] Suggestions for Lace Shops/Museums in Scotland and England
My husband and I are planning a trip to Ireland, England, and Scotland in July/August. While there, I would like to visit some lace shops and/or museums, esp. where I might be able to find some special bobbins. In the past, I made some bobbin lace and tatting. I have found out about two lace shops/museums in Ireland; we're planning to go to one of them. While in England, we're going to be in the London area and, while in Scotland, we will be in Inverness and Edinburgh. Are there any lace-related shops or museums in those areas? Please reply privately unless others are also interested in learning about the places.
