Re: [lace] A puzzle and an updated website

Thank you Jean and David. I just checked out your website while walking my dog
on the beach (life is tough, sometimes). It all looked wonderful and each page
loaded extremely quickly. I appreciate the efforts that went into it all. Good
luck with finding out the mystery item’s provenance.

[lace] A puzzle and an updated website

2019-06-20 Thread Jean Leader
Dear all,

David has been busy and has now updated my website to make it 'mobile
friendly’. We’ve made a few other changes too - some extra images and a couple
of new pages. One of these is about my new DVD, Color in Bedfordshire Lace,
which I filmed with John and Kathy Hensel last summer. The other has photos of
a present I was given when we were on holiday in France earlier this month - a
ceramic box shaped like a lace pillow. I’ve been trying to find out more about
it without success so I’m wondering if any of you have ever seen something
similar - you can see it at

PS Technical - If you have visited my website recently it is possible that the
new version will look dreadful to start with. This is because browsers store
copies of previously visited files to speed performance. Generally you can get
over this by refreshing or re-loading, however in this case the problem is with
a secondary file, a style sheet. One thing you can try is to to load that
directly by going to to
https://www.jeanleader.net/scripts/jean.css, then go back to the page and
refresh. If that doesn’t work you need to clear all the history from you
browser or wait until other pages you’ve viewed displace my old pages.
