Re: [lace] Convention photos
Dear Bev (and others), Thank you. I followed your link. It took me to the site. To get all the convention posts you should click on âpageâ at the top of this screen. For those without Facebook, please confirm that this works. Re: [lace] Convention photos
Hello Devon and everyone I googled the full name of IOLI and got this, so assume it is public? Perhaps someone not on facebook can click-it, and let us know...: https://www.facebook.com/pg/iolilace/posts/?ref=page_internal On Wed, Jul 31, 2019 at 9:00 PM Devon Thein wrote: > I donât think that you can see the photos if you are not on Facebook. I donât think that you can see the photos if you are not on Facebook. The name of the Facebook page is International Organization of Lace, Inc. not IOLI. This is a source of confusion. I understand that there are people who donât want to be on Facebook. But one can establish an identity on Facebook using a pseudonym and just using it to visit other Facebook pages. It is very easy to post on, so it has become a bit of a universal form of communication, for better or worse. For those who follow the International Organization of Lace, Inc. Facebook page, a very complete series of photos has been posted by myself as Facebook editor. The photo of the bobbin lace speed competition in which contestants were given the challenge of making the snake book mark on a watermelon using carrots as bobbins went viral and has received 138,000 views, assisting in raising the follows on the page by about 750. The Tatting challenge sadistically required people to tat with soft silicone fish skeletons. Entertainment included a sing along of Bing Crosbyâs greatest hits since Bing Crosby was from Spokane. Photos of the display, teachers showcase and all the vendors with their appealing wares can be seen on the Facebook page.
