So far no-one has mentioned none US/Canadian entries. I am occilating between "I really want to have a go and push the boundaries on this one" and "Be realistic, you haven't got enough hours in the day for this big piece of lace on top of the rest that *has to* be made for various reasons".
I have naively thought that I would take my lace with me as we do for the Lace Guild AGM competitions. If I have to post the lace overseas ahead of myself and lose the time I need to allow for it to get there, this could be the straw that breaks the camel's back and decides for me not to give it a go. And as Malvary said a couple of days ago, we have had a parcel go astray this year so all of a sudden I am less blase about sending across the Atlantic.
