Hi Kim,
This week I received the OIDFA Bulletin and in the back are reviews for 3 new books.

They are all in German, but hopefully some of them may be translated into English. Especially, I hope, the 3rd book titled "Spitzenrand - oft verkannt" which translates to
"Lace edges - oft[en] misunderstood" & by "edges" = foot and head-sides.
ISBN: 3-934210-81-3 published by Deutscher Klöppelverband e.V. Price: €58.00

Some quotes from the review are:
"The first 16 pages discuss what is meant by "edges", how they evolved and
how they are used in various types of lace."
"The information is grouped into 11 categories according to the type of edge." "Inside the back cover, in a plastic sleeve, is a DVD containing PDF files with
the working diagram & pricking for each of the 136 reconstructions."

I hope that this book contains what you are looking for, Kim.

The 2nd review was for the book titled "Mailander Spitze auf neuen Wegen"
which translates to "Milanese Lace on New Paths" written by German Lace Assoc. ISBN: 3-934210-85-1 published by Deutscher Klöppelverband e.V. Price: €40.00

And the first review was for the catalogue from the 2011 Congress in Bad Pyrmont.
The contest was titled "Wolken, Wind und Wetter (Clouds, Wind and Weather)".
ISBN: 3-934210-84-4 published by Deutscher Klöppelverband e.V. Price: €19.00

Warm regards,
Pene in Tartu, Estonia
