Dear Lace Friends, especially Newbies:

We all have had problems trying to identify if a message is legitimate, or
should be deleted without reading. Today there is in my Spam folder a
message from "d.haber" with no relevant lace Subject -- just "hello". "Hello"
is a classic word used by spammers, instead of giving a real Subject.
Many of us delete all messages with inane Subjects like this, and then the
sender wonders why there were no responses..

May I request that everyone use relevant-to-lace Subject lines, please?

Suggestion: Write your memo, then see what the main Subject is and plug
it in place. Even something like "introducing myself as a new member" is
better than "hello".

Many thanks, Jeri
