I am pleased to advise everyone that Wolds Lacemakers, which is based in the UK, East Yorkshire/Lincolnshire area, will be demonstrating our lacemaking skills at Ferens Art Gallery, Hull from 12 noon to 4.p.m. as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations that are being organised by Hull City Council. We aim to further promote lace and lacemaking within the area. We will also have on display a few photographs showing the lace jabot and cuffs which a few of us made, at her request, for the current High Sheriff of Yorkshire.
