Dear fellow Arachneans,
I've been away from home for a short "Lace Retreat" and I am home again now.
I was asked by my friend, who assisted me in organizing this
opportunity, to write up
a short article about my adventure & then I'll share it with everybody
on Arachne then.
But I have a question about how old books have to be before it is
permissible to include
them in the Arizona archive?
I have in my hot little hands a small Swedish paperback book titled
"Handledning i Knyppling"
which was published in Stockholm in 1962, which makes it 50 years old
this year.
I plan to scan it anyway, while I have it, before I return it to the
lady who let me borrow it.
BTW the weather was lovely for the 2 days I was away in the country
until DH came to pick my
friend & I up. More rain is forecast for today & tomorrow which is a
public holiday in Estonia.
Monday's date (20th August) celebrates the 21st anniversary of Estonia
regaining its independence.
Warm regards from
Pene Piip in Tartu, Estonia
