I made one strip and then changed to do something smaller and different and then go back to do the other one. Saves on the bordom factor. My niece is getting married at the end of June, but I don't like to feel under time pressure.

I'll be your company!!! I'm also working on a garter. Your patterns sounds very similar to mine with the beading down the centre. I just measered mine and I am at 33 centimetres. When do you need yours done by? My son's wedding is August 26, but I want to get it done in plenty of time.

You've been making so many 12 inch (30 cm) pieces lately, I'm sure that's why it seems slow. Remember to keep going once you reach 30 cm. (hehehehe)

These garters are beautiful, but a lot of work. Do we have anyone else making a garter right now?
