Sister Judith was a gifted teacher and designer and I was very lucky that she made for me one of her most beautiful designs, the pianorunner. I finished the lace 2 days before her 100th birthday and she was very happy to see it. She enjoyed the convention in Groningen in 2008 and meeting so many lacefriends! Anneke, Your piano runner is beautiful, is there any way to get some close ups of it? The Withof lace is so beautiful and sculpted. I keep looking for a way to see it closer to see the beauty of it more clearly. That is the style of lace I am someday aspiring to make. Shell in Central PA Where it has been snowy all day and cold, but not as bitter cold as it will be later this week.
