I was introduced to Escher's (a compatriot of mine) art work at a young age
and even met him once at a gallery and have been fascinated by his works
ever since.
I have several books on Escher's works, and have a long standing intention
of trying to turn some of these into lace patterns. If time and talent

I haven't touched my current WIP for months (quite possibly over a 
year), too little time and energy left after work  gardening, but the
