Mine laundered a fair-isle lambswool cardigan (thankfully NOT
hand-knit...but nevertheless *had been* a "favorite") and then threw it

There are also helpful mums - my friend Chris couldn't make out why her son
was having a blue fit when he discovered she had patched his "designer torn
jeans"

2010-02-13 Thread Malvary J Cole
Not exactly the same, but it did remind me of when the dog managed to open a
box and chewed the top off one of my very expensive scrimshawed bone bobbins
and made tooth marks on another. Boyfriend, put the dog out into the garden
and then laughing called me to see what she had done. I asked if he had
punished her, and he admitted he hadn't, he'd just put her in the garden. I
was VERY miffed because only a couple of days before the dog had got into a
bag of garbage and had spread it all around, chewing on some of it. I had
to intervene because he was punishing her so much. I told him it was his
own fault because he'd left the bag of garbage by the door to go out to the
bin.

Malvary in Ottawa where my lawn is still under 2 foot or more of snow. It
is only -8c this morning but snow flurries forecast for later - they need it
in Vancouver for the Olympics more than we do.
