I wanted to thank you for my lovely card and ornament. I received it last week and it is already on my lace Christmas tree. My card will be ready to mail to California before the deadline I hope. Oh a major miracle story to relate to you all (or all ya'll, since I am from the deep South). I told you about how heartsick I was not only that my sister's house and all her possessions had been washed and blown away by Hurricane Katrina, but also my lace display board with all my examples of different laces were lost with her house. Last week while trying to dig out my B-I-l's antique cars from the wreckage of the garage, my lace board was found half buried in the hardened mud. My sister dug it out and took the remaining lace pieces and sent them off to me. I haven't tried cleaning them yet, but I will. And another tidbit of great news, my sister's husband had given her a diamond necklace for their anniversary which was thought to be lost with the house was found near the sidewalk in front of what was their house. Why it hadn't been found weeks ago is a mystery but all are thankful that it was found. So two nice rescues from the ravages of Katrina. Dianne in Dunlap, TN, USA
