I do use both org mode and ledger mode but I do not know what you mean by using both together. John, thanks for the link. Is the org command to allow round trip editing through org mode, or have I misinterpreted its purpose. I didn't know about the org command until now, but it appears to produce reports formatted in org's table format. Org's table format, like the rest of org, is plain text based but it has all sorts of spreadsheet capabilities. So think of the org command as dumping the data into a plain-text spreadsheet.
